Through years and decades of experience and building digital systems, Perpetuum has developed strong competencies for the area that many are talking about and working on - the "green transition". Our projects in this area cover two broad topics - water resource management and protecting the environmental. The first steps in the management of water systems go back quite a few years, to 2003, when we started building a system for monitoring the implementation of project plans for Croatian water (Hrvatske vode), a public utility whose mission is to manage water resources (rivers, lakes and other inland bodies of water) in the Republic of Croatia in order to protect life, health and property from the dangers posed by water bodies, and in order to ensure the permanent availability of water through the optimization of economic and ecological benefits based on the principles of sustainable development. The customer finances many of their projects from the funds of the European Union, which means that they need to be carefully managed. Reports need to be prepared covering a large number of business and project indicators. In the years since, we have built systems for measuring river flows, reporting on water levels, managing water structures and other topics. We entered the world of environmental care and protection in 2018, for the (today) Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, which is responsible for this topic. We are working on the development and constant improvement of the "e-ONTO" system (Electronic register on the origin and flow of waste), which tracks and reports on waste flows on the territory of the Republic of Croatia, and which also includes a quality control and waste traceability system. More about it on the pages about water resource management and environmental protection.

Competence for Green transition solutions
Building, together with our key customers, digital solutions for managing the environment and natural resources
Large amounts of waste are produced every day by the manufacturing and processing industries. Proper disposal and, if possible, as much waste recycling as possible is extremely important for the protection of our environment and the world we live in.
